For those interested about L, and thanks to those who are.
I got to the hospital for 10 and we were back home just after 11, so that was pretty good.
She has had a good afternoon, just getting used to being back home. She has some new equipment which I've got for her to make her life a little easier; still one or two things to get because this is going to be a long recovery.
When Drew arrived to prepare our meal, she was able to get up and eat that which is a great improvement. So far, so good.

I've been testing Be My Eyes Workplace. It does an excellent job of ensuring PDF files are accessible. Every week I have a PDF sent to me which is extremely challenging. It is very difficult to understand the layout of it as the author hasn't used any kind of logical structure or markup. Be My Eyes Workplace has been the only app I have seen which got everything right first time. I can now understand it all, even without asking any supplementary questions. Hi to all. I am posting this here because I know @lulu_bear@dragonscave.space would like me to keep people who care about her up-to-date.
Yesterday afternoon, Lulu was taken quickly by ambulance to hospital. It is quite a distance away from where we live. She was having a lot of breathing difficulties and was dehydrated. We did try to keep the problem at bay but it wasn't possible, so I called the local Doctor who came out to see her. She went to hospital on his recommendation.
She is now better than she was and I've just had a call to say she is coming home this afternoon.
I know you will all wish her well. As soon as I have any more news, I will post it here.

It's been the usual busy work week with training and scripting for people in the most part. When I've had some spare time today, I've been updating our JAWS-based product the Muze with a whole stack of new features. The Muze is a radio broadcaster's tool that gives all kinds of music-based information. I'm very pleased with the way this is shaping up although I have a long way to go before I'm happy with it.
Other news. I've just updated the Stream 3 to the latest 1.6 release so I'm good to go there.
I've registered interest in the new app, Be My Eyes Workplace. There are some features in there which may benefit me in my work, so we'll see what that can do.
And the best news, as some people may know, L has been extremely ill of late. It's been a struggle for us both. But yesterday she started taking some new meds. Today, she's been a little more like herself and interested in things. It's very early days but I'm hopeful. That's all I will say about that.
We have Drew coming over tomorrow to prepare a nice meal as he always does.

Looking forward to the new update to the VR Stream as I use that player every day now. I wonder if it will speak the time correctly now when I ask for it? Seems to be some nice improvements in there. I especially like hearing it with my Bose speaker.
